*Our biodegradable and compostable bags are made using maize starch and biodegradable polyester according to the regulation UNE- EN 13592:2003. They have the same properties as any polyethylene bag, but are totally environmentally friendly, breaking down to their composite nutrients in composting conditions.
El Carmen guarantees that all the components used in their production bear the OK Compost Certificate(UNE-EN 134322:2001).
