No customisation options available for a product such as compostable handling sheets.
This product is suitable for vacuum packing and for use in conventional ovens and microwaves. In a conventional oven, it can be used in temperatures of up to 220º for a maximum of 2 hours. In the microwave, it can withstand a maximum temperature of 150º.
Because it is suitable for vacuum packing, it is particularly good as an auxiliary material for Sacovitta bags.
A semi-rigid, compostable sheet. Suitable for microwave (max 150 ºC) and oven (220º – max 2 hours), with high resistance to grease, OK Compost certification and suitable for food contact.
Biodegradable indicates that a substance can degrade or decompose by reintegrating into the soil under natural environmental conditions.
Compostable means that a biodegradable substance degrades in a short period of time under composting plant conditions into compost, carbon dioxide and water, similar to other organic waste. All compostable substances are biodegradable, but not all biodegradable substances are compostable.
The difference between the two certificates is the fact that the industrial certificate guarantees biodegradability in an industrial composting plant and the OK Compost HOME certificate considers that the volume of waste involved is much smaller, so the temperature in compost is lower and less constant than in the industrial composting environment.
