This food paper consists of a high-density polyethylene sheet suitable for food contact. Different materials available, all glued and smoothed.
Curious BIO combines two layers of different materials: paper plus a biodegradable, compostable sheet according to standard UNE-EN 13432:2001
Both options have a central circular window to easily view the packaged product.

Certifications
Both food papers available blank or can be customised with your logo. Can be customised with up to three different inks on a maximum of 25% of the surface.
We use water-based inks, thus complying with current regulations. Printing can be centred or continuous.
El Carmen Packaging Solutions guarantees that the components used to manufacture the product are controlled and authorised for use with food products, in accordance with current legislation. In other words, suitable for food contact. Also suitable for freezing.
The BIO option is recommended for storing in the original packaging, protected from sunlight, at room temperature (between 15-22 °C), relative humidity below 50% and away from damp soil. Do not store outside, even under cover. The recommended use-by date is 18 months from manufacture.
Yes, for the more sustainable option, this food paper is 100% recyclable and in both cases, by separating the sheet, it’s recycled by depositing it in its corresponding bin.
Natural: Kraft paper.
Litho: 100% virgin fibre.
Recycled: 100% recycled cellulose fibre
The difference between these two food papers lies in the polyethylene sheet. In the case of the BIO range, this sheet is compostable, i.e., it biodegrades in a short period of time, just like organic matter.
This attribute is certified by the TÜV Austria OK Compost INDUSTRIAL seal.
